FINALLY! A RECORD LABEL FOR
KIDS…RUN BY KIDS
PROJECT MUSZED RECORDS LAUNCH EVENT, SATURDAY APRIL 9TH!
Project MuszEd announces the launch of Project MuszEd
Records, a record label for kids…ran by kids. The
announcement was made by Charyn Harris, Founder of Project
MuszEd. The event took place Saturday, April 9, 2005 at AMP
Rehearsal Studios located at 5259 Lankersheim Blvd., North
Hollywood, CA.
Project MuszEd is a non-profit organization dedicated to
providing resources that encourage personal growth and
achievement through music and music education and funding
opportunities to youth in need who desire to pursue higher
education in the fields of music and the business of music.
Through Project MuszEd Records, students 13 and up will
learn every aspect of the music business first hand from top
industry professionals. From recording to A&R,
distribution,
marketing, how to interview, how to get airplay, music
publishing and so much more.
Project MuszEd Records allows students to record their own
projects and earn funds for their educational pursuits in
music through CD sales. A portion of the proceeds goes back
into the organization to further promote the mission. In
addition, students who record for Project MuszEd Records
earn money for college education and to buy equipment!
